The Masthead Promise

Safety & Privacy - Printed Promises, Not Marketing Copy

A private dating site is only as private as its worst loophole. So instead of a privacy page that reads like a tire warranty, here's a plain-English breakdown of what we ask for, what we never touch, and what happens the moment you click delete. Read it before you sign up. Then read it again after.

- The Editors, in cream ink, April 2026.

Sealed · No Google Indexing

Section 01 · The Front Door

Email-Only Signup, Everything Else Optional

We ask for the minimum viable human. An email address is the only required field - the rest of your profile is yours to build, hide, or leave blank. You decide how much of yourself walks through the door.

Email. That's It.

No phone number. No SMS code. No Facebook or Google connect button. Use a throwaway address if you want - many members do.

Photos Are Optional

You can browse, match, and chat without ever uploading a photo. Faceless profiles are welcome and surprisingly common here.

Approximate Location

We track your city region for matching, not your street. No GPS pings. No workplace radius. No map pins.

Opt Out Of Emails

The privacy menu has a single toggle that mutes every notification except account security. Set it once, forget it forever.

Section 02 · The Back Alley

Why Google Will Never Find Your Profile

There is a specific kind of dread that comes with realizing your dating profile might auto-complete when a curious coworker types your name into a search bar. We built the architecture of anonymous dating sites to remove that dread entirely. Every profile URL on IDatingWebsites carries a noindex directive, a restrictive robots.txt, and a X-Robots-Tag: none header at the CDN edge. Translation: the major search engines are explicitly told not to crawl, cache, or snapshot your page.

We also skip the two quieter leaks that tank most incognito dating apps. We don't ship profile previews into Open Graph cards shared on social media. And we don't back up chat logs to a third-party analytics provider - conversations live inside our own encrypted store and expire on your schedule, not ours. On the security side, we've never been breached, we don't sell user data to anyone, and the only personal field we retain beyond your account lifetime is the hashed email used for ban-evasion checks.

"A privacy promise is only useful if it survives contact with your most paranoid Tuesday. Ours is designed to."

If any of that feels vague, the full Terms & Privacy document spells out the legal backbone - data retention windows, sub-processor list, cookie scope, and your GDPR/CCPA rights. It's written by humans for humans, not by a law firm billing by the comma.

Section 03 · The Exit

One-Click Delete, And What Actually Happens

We treat account deletion like a front-page feature, not a buried formality. Here is the literal sequence of events the moment you press the red button.

The 4 steps, in order
  1. Confirmation. A single modal asks if you're sure. No guilt copy. No "we'll miss you" banners. No winback offer.
  2. Immediate logout. Every active session on every device is terminated within seconds.
  3. Data erasure. Your profile, photos, chat history, match list, and preferences are irreversibly wiped from our primary database.
  4. Backup purge. Within 30 days, you're purged from rolling encrypted backups. After that, no copy of your account exists anywhere on our infrastructure.
What we do not do
  • No 30-day "recovery window" holding your data hostage.
  • No email confirmation link required to complete deletion.
  • No reactivation if you change your mind - a new account is a new account.
  • No shadow profile. No marketing email list. No "former member" tag.

- The cleanest exit in private dating apps, by design.

Section 04 · The Night Desk

AI Moderation, Explained Without The Jargon

Every image uploaded to the platform - profile photos, chat attachments, gallery additions - passes through an on-device vision model before it ever reaches another member. The model is trained to recognize unsolicited explicit content and the kind of body-shaming visual jokes that have no place in a size-positive community.

What the AI actually does

  • Auto-blur on receive. Explicit images in chat are blurred by default. The recipient can choose to unblur - or not - at their own pace, on their own terms.
  • Profile photo filter. Explicit content is rejected at upload, not quietly hidden days later.
  • Pattern flagging. Repeat offenders are surfaced to a human moderator within minutes, not hours.
"The goal isn't puritanism - it's consent. Nobody sees what they didn't agree to see."

The human moderation team reviews every report filed by a member and every AI flag above a certain confidence threshold. Bans are permanent and applied across devices, not just accounts. Body-shaming messages - size-related or otherwise - result in immediate removal with no second warning, which is the single most requested rule in our onboarding survey.

Section 05 · The Toolbox

Reporting Tools You Can Actually Use

Every member card and every chat window carries the same four controls, tucked behind a single icon. No menus to hunt through. No "tell us why" essay requirements. Press the button, we handle the rest.

Block Instantly

One tap removes the member from your view entirely. They see no profile, receive no notification, and can't message you ever again.

Report With Context

Choose a reason, add optional context, submit. A human moderator reviews within 24 hours - most cases inside 2.

Mute A Conversation

Softer than blocking. The thread stays searchable on your end but goes silent for notifications - useful while you decide what you actually want.

Download Your Data

Export your full account archive - messages, profile, preferences - in one portable file, any time, no questions asked.

Section 06 · The Checklist

A Privacy Checklist For Your First Week

Six small moves that turn a private dating site into your private dating site. Print the list, or don't - it takes about four minutes to run.

~ Editor's recommended setup
  • Use a dedicated email. A fresh address - even a free one - keeps your dating life out of your primary inbox and off any future breach lists.
  • Choose a display name, not your real name. First names, nicknames, initials. Whatever you'd answer to at a bar you've never been to.
  • Turn off email alerts. Privacy menu → notifications → off. Check the site when you want to. It will not nag.
  • Test the visibility slider. Hide your profile from anyone outside your match preferences with one toggle. Flip it on the moment you create the account.
  • Skip the face photo for week one. Use a warm, grainy shot that suggests rather than identifies. Upgrade later if you want.
  • Save the delete button in muscle memory. Settings → account → delete. One click. No maze.

- Six minutes of setup buys six months of peace.

Section 07 · Ask The Desk

Privacy Questions Answered Plainly

Editor note - if a privacy question isn't answered here, write us and we'll add it.

Will my profile ever show up in a Google search?

No. Every profile URL carries a noindex directive, a restrictive robots.txt, and an X-Robots-Tag header at the CDN edge. Major search engines are explicitly instructed not to crawl, cache, or snapshot your page. We also do not generate Open Graph previews for profile pages, which prevents leakage through social sharing.

What personal data do you actually keep?

Only the minimum required to run the service - your email address, profile information you chose to upload, messages while your account is active, and approximate city region for matching. We do not collect phone numbers, full location coordinates, contact lists, or social graph data. We never sell, rent, or share member data with third parties for marketing.

What does SPH mean in texting?

SPH is shorthand for small penis humiliation, a specific consensual kink. On IDatingWebsites it is handled as an opt-in preference tag inside our Small Penis Fetish category. If you have not opted in, you will never receive that type of content. Our default community is acceptance-based, not humiliation-based.

What does SPH wife mean?

SPH wife is a community term for a partner - often but not exclusively a spouse - who is enthusiastically into the SPH dynamic with their husband or long-term partner. On our platform it remains an opt-in preference, and partners can browse, match, and chat privately with couples who share that interest.

If I delete my account, is it actually gone?

Yes. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Your profile, photos, chats, and preferences are wiped from our primary database within seconds. You are purged from encrypted rolling backups within 30 days. After that, no copy of your account exists on our infrastructure. There is no reactivation window and no shadow profile.

Can other members screenshot my profile?

Technically yes - that is a limitation of any web platform. But taking screenshots off-platform and sharing them elsewhere is a permanent-ban offense, and our AI moderation flags suspected off-platform sharing when it appears on monitored public channels. Combined with our faceless-profile option, the realistic risk is lower than on any mainstream dating app.

Are my chats encrypted?

Messages are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and stored encrypted at rest inside our own infrastructure. They are never backed up to a third-party analytics provider. You can delete an individual conversation at any time, and all chats are wiped immediately when you delete your account.
